LOL is an internet acronym meaning 'laugh out loud' or 'laughing out loud'. This is used when a picture, video or conversation on the internet (or on texts, or even real life) is amusing, and is similar to saying 'haha'. This is one of the best known internet acronyms, but unfortunately it has been overused and is now losing it's true meaning.
